Bloom to Life

Hey lovelies! Spring is almost upon us! I know I keep saying it, but that's because I'm actually super stoked! What better way to greet spring than to bring on the flowers? Many people dislike wearing floral because...well idk really, they must be crazy. Cause floral's probably one of my favorite accented details. Here, pairing it with a black denim jacket and black denim pants, I easily tone down the feminine feel that the floral shirt gives off.

Suitable for:
Concerts. Hanging out with friends/casual outings. Hipster type attire. Art shows. Active camouflage on your grandma's sofa. Hikes.

Not suitable for:
Fancy dinner dates. Business meetings (unless if you're some sort of performer or artist). People who hate floral. Running alone at night in the middle of the street (you'll get hit by a car). Fighting a bear. Karate tournament.

Comfortably Numb

Loving these new 511 Levis, the flex of these jeans are perfect for all the things that I do. I could never wear jeans that are stiff, my daily life requires way more movement than that. So being #equipped with jeans that flex and look good are a must!
Also, my hair has been getting really long, but it's still in it's awkward stage, so of course, I would need some good headgear to compliment my outfits. I just love these hats from Rustix, they are extremely comfortable and have such amazing character.
Have an amazing week everyone!

-Yoshi

Where Soul Meets Body (ft. Levi's)

If the world was in a post apocalyptic end, this would probably be my outfit. I love how those shows nowadays, "Walking Dead" and other games like "Last of Us" have such cool rugged outfits. I know it's weird but I only look forward to a zombie apocalypse so I can wear really dirty rugged cool outfits. Anyways, I paired up with Levi's to bring forth this outfit for you guys. They gifted me with this pair of blue denim. So naturally I paired it with a grey shirt to dull down it color and added on this denim jacket to give it more of a personality.

Suitable for:
Airsofting. Zombie hunting. Hiking. Casual daily wear. Lunch dates. Going to concerts. Running away from cops (these pants are super flexible).

Not suitable for:
Dinner dates. Fancy parties. Taking a shower.

Carry on my Wayward Soul

Photos by: Bethany Struble                               Sweater by: Old Navy                           Shirt by: H&M                                Pants by: Kasil Workshop                                Shoes by: Guidomaggi

I've been loving so many pieces from Old Navy lately. Honestly, one of the most affordable places to get good solid basic pieces. Most of my staple collections are from there or target tbh.

Suitable for:
Clean dressers. Dinner dates. Meeting the parents. Church. Dating a taller chick (these shoes give a clean 2"). Casual Cocktail events.

Not suitable for:
Rock and Rollers. Breakdance battles (seriously, the pants will rip, don't try it). Walking on the beach dates (sand will invade the cuff in your pants and your elevator shoes, not fun).  Playing world of warcraft (it gets hot). People who hate blue.

Peace and love from me and Bethany!

Luck of The Irish

Happy St. Patty's day! I've never really been a big fan of getting pinched, so I've always learned to incorporate green into some part of my outfit every year. Though I gotta admit, sometimes I can go a bit overboard, and going overboard is exactly NOT what you'd want. Well...not what I'D want anyways. Some people can pull off a full green outfit, or a green jumpsuit, I for one cannot. So I always tend to go with a monochromatic look with a pop of green. Though Olive green isn't exactly the poppiest of green, the desaturated color blends really well with this black and grey outfit. Now go forth my friends, and pinch those without green!

Suitable for:
A dinner date. A dance party. Clubbing. Cocktail/After party. Church. Meeting the parents. Presenting a speech.

Not Suitable for:
Running away from the cops. Hiking. Going to a blink182 concert. Going to jail in.

It's beeen getting H. O. T. amirite guise? guise? maybe just here then. I've really been looking forward to summer and I know how retarded I sound seeing as how it's just the beginning of spring. I just can't help it. I love beach days and warm sand and sunsets at 8 PM! Well one can dream!

Suitable for:
Beach bums (not actual bums). Casual days. Lunch dates. Stripe Lovers.

Not Suitable for:
Business outings. Dinner dates at a nice restaurant. People who hate stripes. People who hate puppies (though the puppy is not necessary for the outfit). Gym bros (I hear they hate cuffed pants). Cuff pants haters.

Aaaaannnnnnnnnddd, here's a picture of a puppy pooping, cause like...that's the funniest thing in the world to see imo.

Royal Blood

Photos by: Yoshi Sudarso                                          Jacket by: Black Lapel                                         Pants & Shirt by: H&M                                Shoes by: Aldo

So some of you asked about the outfit I was wearing in the Smellcome to Manhood post. Well of course I wouldn't leave that out! Here it is! The outfit was worn for the Oscars, and because I was wearing old spice, I kind of used that to pull inspiration by wearing the bold red shirt. Sometimes I like wearing three piece suits, but for a clean look without being to formal, I often leave out the tie, unbutton the top collar button and leave it as a two piece suit.

Suitable for:
Fancy events. Cocktail parties. Dinner dates. Art shows. Meeting the parents. Someone who needs to looks sophisticated easily.

Not Suitable for:
Business Meetings (well you can, but I don't recommend the bold red, maybe a more business color like a baby blue or a white dress shirt). Going to jail (wearing skinny pants to jail is honestly just asking for it). Casual days/hangouts. Hiking. Eating Carl's JR (try it and lmk how it goes). Beach days.

Also Here is a gif so you guys can see the outfit better!

Smellcome to Manhood!

This post was sponsored by Old Spice

Hey ladybros! SMELLCOME to manhoooood. So you guys don't even know how excited I am to be working with old spice. Not only is their brand color red 8] the best color ever, but they also actually have quality items. The aqua reef deodorant has been my go to ever since I've become a "man" which is codeword for hitting puberty and smelling like onions (jk I smell like roses).

The package came with:
- A certificate that literally states that I'm a man, a movie (Starring Sylvester Stallone, which is a man amongst men)
- Three body sprays (swagger, fiji, bearglove)
- Duct tape (essential man-tool)
- Last but not least, Forge, an old spice hair putty.

 Hair Putty: Forge

The hair putty is honestly my favorite product when it comes to putting anything in my hair. My hair by nature is INCREDDIBLY dry and nappy, so shaping it is a bit annoying. Thankfully, hair putty doesn't flake up like hair gel does or give that wet sheen, so it aids in controlling this crazy mane of mine while looking extremely natural.

Old spice's hair putty has a light scent which is always nice when using a hair product, you never want something on your head overwhelming and/or countering any other scent you might have on.

Quick Hair styling tips
-When using the hair putty, you want to take a small portion, dime sized or more depending on your hair type and length, and coat both hands with it
-Rub the putty through your hair to make your hair more mold-able
-Gently sculpt your hair using the lightly coated putty from your fingers to give it finishing touches
-Personally, to do my hair, I use the putty to help supress my sides and push it down. (it gives my face frame a sleeker look. works well with wider faces like mine)
-Then I brush the top of my hair forward finishing it by bringing the bangs up (usually I bring the bangs slightly to the side, regardless of the forward motion that the top of my hair has if my hair is too long)

Body Sprays
Scent is such an important sense that a lot of guys have sadly neglected. Most girls I ask, "what is a huge turn off for you?" most of them say, "bad B.O." Thankfully Old Spice here has supplied me with three great smelling body sprays. The three different body sprays are as pictured, Fiji, Swagger, Bearglove.

Fiji
Fiji is a sweeter smelling body spray, which is not my personal favorite, but the clean refreshing spray is kinda nice when you're not looking for the deep musk in a body spray.

Swagger
Swagger is a classic old spice, yet for some weird reason it's been foreign to me up until today. The smell is clean yet musky. It's by far my personal favorite, I'll probably be picking up this scent once this body spray runs out. It's got the classic smell, and of course provides enough swag for any man to require.

Bearglove
Bearglove was actually the only scent I owned before I got the body spray. Bears being my animal spirit, I had to try it out. Sadly the smell is nothing like I'd expected, which is not a bad thing. I was hoping the smell be musky and masculine, but bearglove is actually a bit sweet and fruitier than I'd expected. The scent is slightly sweet and fresh, I highly recommend it for those who like the out of the shower soaped smell.
